St. Armand's Circle Corvette Show

Today was beautiful. One of those Florida days that remind us why we live here.

This morning we got up bright and early to go see the Corvette show on St Armand's Circle. It was so fun to see all the different corvettes! The oldest one was a 1957, it was my favorite,

We took Mack with us and he was an attention-hog, as always!

There were probably about 100 Vettes there!

This blue one was just like Joe's - I loved the license plate!

This old one (58? I think?) was just plain cool:

And this was the oldest one, a '57 - beautiful!

Paint, paint, paint

I want to throw up a quick picture while its still all new and wonderful. Taken at midnight, with an iPhone, and Mack's ratty bed in the corner.

Joe's been busy in class this weekend and next to get his captain's license (which, yay!) - so I needed a project. I've hated the paint on our walls since the day we painted it. So, with windows open, music blaring, here we go!

We'll live with these color swatches for a week - and if we like them, I'll finish it all up next weekend!

One more time

One last game for the 2013 Spring Training season! The Mets were visiting the Orioles and it made for the perfect way to round out the season. Chase and Jeff joined us and it was an awesome way to spend the last Saturday in March!

Spontaneous.

On a whim we decided to come to a baseball game tonight to close out our week. We're trying out the pavilion seating and loving it so far!

The best thing about Florida in March (you know, aside from the perfect weather, spring break events, and general lack of snow) - is Spring Training! We generally try to make it to a few games, and this year is no exception. Today we're at the newly-renovated Ed Smith stadium, right up the street from us! The Baltimore Orioles (home) are playing the Toronto Blue Jays! March 30th, the very last game of the spring training season, we'll be right back here to see them play Los Mets! Maaaaaybe we'll be lucky enough to catch some others in between!

A cool 61 degrees and sunny - absolutely perfect!
